The Spoorlaar NEXT18 to MTC14 decoder adapter is designed for connecting NEXT18 decoders to MTC14 connectors. The adapter is “plug and play” and requires no further complicated installation. This makes it possible, for example, to use decoders from brands such as ESU, Zimo, Doehler & Haass and Train-O-Matic with models from Minitrix, if the decoder or locomotive are NEXT18 and MCT14. You now have more choice to upgrade your old (and new) locomotives and use a different decoder, or use an existing decoder if you already have one.
Please note that the product is fragile and requires careful handling during installation.

I bought the adapter from next18 to mtc14. Installed this in the MTX MDyge 986 makeshift express wagon. Now the lighting also works digitally. Super!
